Hello and welcome to our handmade blog! My husband and I are so happy to share
our handmade works with you. With our son off to college, we are pursuing our passion for woodworking, watercolor painting and good design.
A little about the crafters:
Dave began woodworking building houses with his father at a very young age. I once heard him say he has probably hammered over 100,000 nails! During college he worked as a carpenter and later became a construction manager for high-end homes in Florida. Eventually Dave and his father opened their very own woodworking shop creating interior wood shutters. Quality products and lots of referrals grew the business quickly. After selling their business Dave went into computer aided drafting and design. His precision and attention to detail have always amazed me.
I entered the art world as a youngster. As a teenager I painted my friend’s jean jackets with their favorite rock bands, which I believe enticed me into the commercial art world. After college I went on to work as a graphic designer. Later I started a mural business with a few paint brushes and a couple cans of paint. To my surprise I had a woman tell me one of my murals helped sell her home! I enjoy creating good works for clients, friends and family.
We hope you enjoy looking through our puzzle making, watercolors, wood working, and all things hand crafted.
